Are those thigh highs?

Today is Saturday and hurricane Hannah is dumping a few gallons on the area. Great day to take a nap!

Here's the short version of the last 3 days:

Mike was taken off of the blood thinner (which was supposed to help with the clot in his arm but caused a brain bleed). Once off the blood thinner, the bleed in his brain began to clot (which is kind of a good thing in this case). But you don't want a clot in the brain, so he was given a low dose of tPA (a thrombolytic agent) aka a "clot-buster". The good news: as of yesterday morning, 80% of the brain clot had cleared out, no more brain bleed, the CSF fluid is starting to run clear and at a good rate. Monday morning he will have another scan to check progress.

In other news:
Mike had a good session with physical therapy yesterday. He was showing muscular resistance to some of the movements, which is a good indicator.

He is regulating his temperature at an acceptable level without the help of the Artic Sun and keeping his white cell count at a decent number.

Now that he is no longer on the Artic Sun, they are able to put his "socks" back on which help with his circulation. I call them as I see them: they look like white thigh highs for Nancy Nurse. It takes a man very secure in his manhood to wear those suckers!

Was that TMI?
